That Last Minute Holiday Shopping Feeling
Share
Are you like me, fellow popcorn enthusiast? As December gets into its full stride, does your holiday to-do list start to feel a little last minute-y? (Did I just make up a word?)
If you're feeling uneasy about choosing all your gifts for loved ones in time, you're not alone. It's normal to feel a holiday rush. Whole songs have been written about it!
With office parties, school concerts, community events, and family gatherings, December's calendar easily becomes jam-packed.
Heck! The season's hustle and bustle even led to this blog post being written at the last minute. I "should have" written it two weeks ago. But let's not worry about "should haves" this holiday season. Let's just do our best in the given moment.
Now, take a deep breath, start humming your favorite holiday tune, and remember that the holiday season is a gift in itself. Giving a loved one your openhearted time is enough.
Are you humming yet? I'll talk to you in the new year!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Good Yule!
Warmly,
Karen
